I've seen this move happening for ages mate. He's perfect for their team. Quite, Strong, skillful, would be great in La Liga. He's probably better than any LB in La Liga.
 
I'd be so happy for him if he went to Barca, he'd be recognised as one of the world's great LBs and a dead cert for the national side. Hope Barca are the ones to get him.

If Gervinho does have a release clause, I think we're out of the running, Arsenal only need to match that and we're ****ed.

Didn't the Lille manager say that only Cabaye had a release clause? Or words to that effect anyway.

I think so, a lot of stuff gets lost in translation though, especially when we all put the quotes through Google. Would surprise me if it was true, because there had been talk of bids up to 17mil.
 
I'm confident he will join us. Man city have A Johnson, Silva & Milner. They do not need Gervinho. Arsenal have Walcott, Arshavin & Nasri. They do not need a winger. If he joins them he may be a bench warmer!

Reports in France are now indicating that it is Arsenal or Man City and that we are not in the running. However this is probably because of the Daily Mail.
