We said that at the end of 2010; we said that at the end of last year. It wouldn't surprise me if Schumacher stayed on for another year but I can't see Mercedes taking that final step forward just yet.

Where will Mercedes be when the others implement a DDRS? it's naive to think none of the other teams are going to try and implement it and lets be honest, the DDRS is the only reason they are getting any points, once they lose that advantage they'll be worse off than they were last year, which is worse than they were the year before. the reality is that without the gimmick Mercedes are going backwards.
It's not really. Rosberg dominated in China without using it, and they were strong in Monaco where it was pretty ineffective.
Canada only really has one "downforce" corner. They're all either slow(ish) where traction, Mechanical grip and brakes are king... or pretty long straights.
Speaking of DDRS, maybe Ferrari have one? looking at the way they are hiding the front section, no rear wing there also.
In all honesty, I don't see its relevance to this thread. There is however, another thread where it would be relevant: http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...-Driver-Line-ups-News-amp-Rumours-Formula-one
Is anyone hoping we don't have a 7th winner ?, sort of am myself so we don't lose too much credibility. Some good drivers left to win, but would prefer not to see it.
I think I know what you're getting at but as far as I'm concerned, I hope the best driver wins, whoever it is. Neither do I agree with the notion that if, for instance, someone like Hamilton or Schumacher wins, it will reduce credibility. In my opinion, F1's credibility is affected by inconsistency of decisions, rather than a highly competitive World Championship.
We thinking a 2 stop race if it stays dry (except Sauber who will go for a 1 stop obviously ) James Allen: Strategy Calculator
After being the ONLY user to correctly predict that Mark Webber would win the last GP, I've went with Sergio Perez as we know how fast his car is in a straight line.
But there are still some drivers who could credibly make the 7th winner though. Hamilton and RAikkonen for a start. Then slightly lower down but still credible Schumacher and Grosjean.
It looks like a more refined version of the extreme low downforce wing they trialled in Montreal last year but never raced. This Autosport article suggests it's to aid DRS. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Edit: They actually look nothing alike seeing them in the same post.
Rosberg didn't use his DDRS in china? are you having a laugh? He got pole by using it all the way around the track.
Good shout, but I thought as it is news of the present week people may want to know.. doesn't matter.
