I think we're all having some injury scares tbh


It's been interesting past few weeks, us lower league mongs have made some points back on you upper league mongs, tables tightened up. Well apart from heed who is a total twat

Well my injury list is now so big it's almost as long as jimileysbaldhead's willy - well, only if I include the players' middle names, nick-names, club names and squad numbers.

I've broken my mind trying to think of ways to catch you lot, I didn't realise fantasy football was so bloody serious lol. Good laugh though

 

I was just starting to catch up and now everyone has gone and got themselves injured. This is why I was trying to save my wildcard till December. Apparently you have to avoid starting off with a really **** team to pull that one off though!

Btw Bam Bam - you're heading for the 4th division in the other game if you don't start playing soon!

 

There's a 4th division? Jesus Christ I was waiting for the next round to look to make a comeback but it gets bloody worse lol


I had to use my wildcard too, I started off with a team with players in their right positions. I had wingers and proper fullbacks and everything. safe to say I didn't have a clue what I was doing

 

Even Pardew knows that playing three left backs, 4 defensive midfielders and an unknown kid as lone striker is where it's at!

 

Flattery won't get you anywhere.

 

My tips for the weekend.

If you still have Costa, Aguero or Sanchez in the team - Dump them.
All three will have stinkers this week and more than likely get themselves injured.
You know it makes sense - get rid now. I AM.

No problem Obi, I'm always willing to offer tips.
If you put those three in though, you'll have the same forwards as me.
Can I suggest Danny Graham or Kone at Everton as alternatives.

 

Ok. And with those two stars in the team, I won't need to have a third striker so I can save some money too, you sir are a genius!

 

Two stars in any forward line is enough, in fact one is more than in Pardew World.
One final thought for tonight - sign two 4.0m keepers neither who play.

That way you have a bit more money to spend elsewhere in the team and more importantly, your keeper won't pick up any minus points.

 

Right I took your advice. In fact I went a step further and selected 2 low cost, non selected and/or injured goalies AND five low cost, non selected and/or injured defenders (that way none of them can get minus points).

Plus I swapped out Costa, Aguerro & Sanchez and replaced them with Graham & Kone.

I didn't want to blow my wildcard just yet, so I've incurred a minus 40 point penalty for excessive transfers this week, but I think it will be worth it.

 

Pfft I hope you literally get about 4 points this weekend, and one of them is a bonus point. I don't care if we have the same players

In all seriousness though I was taking a look at some of your teams earlier and noticed you can see the transfers made this week for each team (just the number of them) so then I'm trying to predict the transfers made. At that point I was like sod this and went out to buy bread.

 

Damn, Costa scored! Who'd have thought that after Heed advised me to transfer him out?
