Pleased with the signing - good reliable professional ('cept when his phone goes missing?), but why have we taken his photo in the boot cupboard? Is he also the assistant kitman?
Gutted, as are many R's. Solid, reliable player. Wish him well and you lot too for the rest of the season (except against us of course).
What a difference a couple of weeks make in football. Most people say this is a good signing. Yet Troy Deeney was a thug and we don't need people like that at this club. So hitting people over the head with an iron bar is ok then. Don't get me wrong I will welcome him to the club like everyone else. But I would have said the same about Deeney who else can say the same on here?????
Quite a few of us I would think. For those who were anti Deeney, there is a slight difference in that DS is on bail and denies any wrong doing. Mind, if convicted could face up to 25 years inside. Will be interesting for some of you younger guys to see how good he will be aged 52. Think that may have been a major discussion during the transfer negotiations. I think a lot will unfold in this story bearing in mind his recent romantic liaison. Innocent until proven guilty, and second chance are fundamental to British law.
Well from the footage of that bar brawl involving that coward jockey & his ´I´ll join in now the bloke is on the floor`mates, who incidentally got off scot free (if seen you´d know what I mean), DS won´t be worried about getting off whether he did it or not. England doesn´t have a justice system to speak of any more.
Simpson's a good signing for you, going in search of 1st team football is to his credit, he's a good lad, sorry to see him go.
