Hi all,

Throw away that cold turkey the 2011 season starts here. Ferrari have opened the precedings with thier car launch on friday and gave it a run out. More launches on monday and tuesday, then were away with testing. the dates are here:

Circuit de Valencia Ricardo Tormo, Spain 1st-3rd February 2011
Jerez, Spain 10-13th February 2011
Circuit de Catalunya, Spain 18th-21st February 2011
Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain 3rd-6th March 2011

Jose, could we have this thread as a sticky to discuss all things and goings on during testing?

I will try and keep an update of the times here too.

Ferrari: The work schedule for this first session will focus mainly on the overall reliability of the F150 and on increasing understanding of the new Pirelli tyres. There was some rain today, but the weather is due to improve over the next few days. The car which will be entrusted to Fernando Alonso tomorrow and Wednesday will be in the same configuration seen last Friday in Maranello at the launch presentation.

Testing has begun, im following it on F1Today.nl using a translator. I will post times in the afternoon and the end of the day here. Alonso has kicked it of with a 1.18.436

Surprised McLaren have gone with Paffett. He does have a sound technological knowledge though, he does a lot of development stuff on the simulator. Perhaps McLaren think he'll give them better info on the Pirellis.
