Alonso apparently responsible for red flag, the f150 stopping at the last corner .. but, acording to sarah fecking holt on twitter it is rosberg and mercedes are still hoping to get shuey out ffs and SHE IS THERE?

must be better twitters to follow.. to think of the waste, either one of us could have done a more informed job had we been given the opportunity.. if i was there i would be twittering like no tomorrow.

well testing has ended, what will tomorrow bring? I think the teams were running very conservativly today and will run faster laps on the last day.

Star of the day: D'Ambrosio on his debut in the slow 2010 spec virgin he was running with the 7th fastet time

Dud of the day: Mercedes, they seem to be having teathing problems but was sorted after lunch

So, todays testing has pretty much told us nothing!

Looking at the times doesn't really say a lot, we have no idea of fuel loads, or how hard drivers were pushing (especially with talks of Alonso slowing on the straights). The mercedes appears to have had a few teething problems, and Ferrari may be having an aero issue with the rare wing that hadn't been thought of over the winter (alternatively - they've found a way to improve it). We can't really compare drivers in the same team, because again we have no idea of fuel loads! The only thing I can think of is that the margin between the drivers wasn't too big, if a team had been 10 seconds clear I'd have been worried!

Thanks for telling me what happened in the first testing even though it the later ones that judge the performance of the cars <ok>

Decent start from Seb, don't expect that time to last though, we're still almost 2 seconds off Alonso's pace from a year ago and even with double diffusers being banned I think they'll be going a lot quicker than that.

Alonso goes second with a 1:14.111

The lap times for that run are:
19 1:32.583
20 1:14.111 -18.472
21 1:21.270 +7.159
22 1:14.245 -7.025
23 1:20.420 +6.175
24 1:14.345

cooldown/warm up then fast lap tactics I see. Interesting, hopefully someone can figure out what Ferrari are doing. It could just be testing tyre wear with the new Pirelli's or wing settings, something that doesn't require them to pit in.

Alonso now sets fastest time ... 1:13.469

Sarah Holt... works for the BBC so that means I contribute towards her ****ing wages... get to ****ing work and start earning your crust ffs no ****er gives a **** if a german ****ing journo saw you eating chocolates... post lap times etc ****ing idiot.

rant over...

You have quite a way with words juggling

I cant beleive Im gonna say this but fully agree with JugJo - holt makes me so annoyed as all she reports on which team has made the best cream cakes and who she has spilt milk over on. When she does any videos she looks like a misserable lil ****. She gets packed off to all these venues but cant seem to report on anything of interest other than which team has the best lunch menu.

This morning despite being sent out to valencia by the beeb, she didnt even report on the quali on time. Only an hour after it started she tweeted for the 1st time by saying "Quali is already underway for an hour now"

Instead of getting rid of 606...they should get rid of her and a couple of other wastes of space from the beeb who just go for the jolly-up and do *** all!
