One bloke left our office to join a local authority and he'd kept in touch with some of his mates via email. Towards the end of his probation period at the new place he'd written to one of his former colleagues and was a tad uncomplimentary about a former manager, nothing more than "is that useless tit still in charge at such and such an office?" sort of thing. The recipient forwarded the otherwise bland "how are things" email to a few other people who knew the guy and it got sent on again but ended up with a complete suck arse who knew the manager in question and grassed everyone up that was on the distribution list. Warnings were thrown about like confetti and HR contacted the bloke's new firm who sacked him for using official headed emails to slag off an employee of another company.

Another do-gooder walked past one of the girls in the office who had been sent a e-calender of uber-chubby birds in the nuddy or in skimpies. The girl had opened the attachement and was having a chuckle to herself when snotty bitch spotted what she was looking at, grassed her up for looking at porn, IT were called in and scanned all previous emails from the same sender to find similar content and she along with others on the distribution list had to take an official warning and go for counselling for addiction to filth!!

The firm were more concerned about the bad press for doing nothing rather than the bad feeling it generated among the office staff for dishing out disciplinaries.

In China Facebook is banned but apart from that you can slate who the **** you like, i`m moving to China..

I don`t have a desk. Or work computer. I have a pen and an earpiece/radio like the secret service goons have that the wire goes to my shirt cuffs...
Today is a day off.:biggrin:
