Grateful, we had a purple patch a month or so ago, and was able to pull ourselves from the relegation zone. Just a couple more wins, and we should be mathematically safe. We go again, with the same setup next season!

Shows the mindset of these players. They really don't care, you can tell there is no passion! Aston Villa gave this lot more of a game than us.. I would like to know what our wage bill is in comparison to villa, and the cost of our squad?

Anyway, on the game tonight, I feared the worst when it was 1-0 and thought we’d be in for a drubbing. The performance still wasn’t great, but we held our own and looked ok defensively.
City are unfortunately a very good team both in and out of possession, and controlled the game very well. We barely created anything and that’s testament to City’s solidity.
We didn’t disgrace ourselves and we move on to Benfica.

COYG!!! Gutted because I'm currently living 20 minutes from the Olympiakos stadium where Arsenal is playing tonight, shame the games are a lockout!! The more I watch Bellerin the more frustrated I get. Attacking down that right is so stilted compared to Tierney. Bellerin has no end product so it's so limited. Can't cross for toffee. Jeez.
He must know something we don't know! We need a couple of goals, he brings on a player whose confidence is shot to pieces! Arteta is really mugging us off.
