I dont get it.

Lacazette doesnt score away from home so why play him down the middle?

Mustafi and Luiz are poor in the air so why start them against a tall Burnley that will obvioulst twry and exploits this?.. For the most part I have liked Artetas tactics in his first few games but this is all wrong.
 
I think we’re missing Torreira in the middle of the pitch today.

I think I’d take off Laca and go for Pepe wide and Auba down the middle.

Not sure how we grow into this game tbh. We need to use the ball a bit better, our passing has just been slightly off today.
 
Get Martinelli over to the left as well, he’s worked so well there in front of Saka in recent games.
 
Also in that half when Laca was supposedly offside, aren’t they supposed to allow play to continue and let VAR check if it’s actually offside? The ref blows his whistle as soon as the flag goes up and the replay looks like he is onside. Thought this was one of the main uses of VAR.

Feels like the officials haven’t got a clue what they are doing with VAR.
 
The title is mathematically over for Arsenal with 14 games left to play on the 1st Feb.

How is that a yellow, he’s won the ball. At worst a free kick of the ref thinks he’s followed through.

Xhaka and Torreira both on yellows. I can see a red card in this game...
 
Ozil is finished, he plays like he's on sedatives.
Lacazette is unrealiable
Xhaka is mediocre
Mustafi is ****
Luiz iz ****

I would sell them all.

I think Ozil has been good so far under Arteta. Today he’s been frustrated along with all our forward players.

He's just too mild though. He plays with aboslutely no fire/aggression. It annoys the hell out of me - I just want to see our players fighting to win. Showing some passion.

He has been since Arteta came along. Today Ozil along with auba and Laca haven’t put in the same energy as we have been recently. Definitely the worst performance as a team and individually for a lot of players since the manager change.
 
I know they don’t often get given but for me if a keeper takes a player out like that on the way to the ball it’s a penalty.

No intention or anything like that but if that’s any player except the keeper you get the penalty.
