There is a rumour going around that Zodiac Maritime are interested in buying us. I don't know how true this is but the owners are seriously minted.

A shipping company? Got to be better than Douchèbag. I bet that Katrine goes too, right away, if he sells.

Which is the final, she's lying that she likes the club and has its best interests at heart.

I've not seen anything about this, only fans. No one to believe that this is true yet, that's not to say it's not true. Pretty random not to be perhaps?

Wading thru 10 pages of BS on forums and Twitter this morning, it looks like the principal source of this rumour is a PM conversation between someone claiming to be Tony Jiminez's cousin, and Reams.

This wouldn't be the first time that someone has joined ITTV just to do Reams up like a kipper.

Remember the '3 players from Bournemouth' etc

Anyone interested in buying us would have to get past the CEO, a bit like the archetypal dragon doctor's receptionist. Not easy, since allowing takeover talks would be taken as deliberately making herself unemployed, and would jeopardise her chances of claiming jobseekers' allowance. Maybe if Good Old Uncle Roly could get her a new toy to play with, ie another network club where they wouldn't sing those nasty racist/sexist/vile abuse etc songs, she might allow him to listen to offers:emoticon-0150-hands

Interesting theory, which I have also seen espoused by a well known ex-employee of the Club.

Roland WOULD listen to offers to sell but his gatekeeper bats them all away, knowing that a sale would bring to an end what Andy Warhol might have called her 15 Minutes of Fame.

Surely Millwall would love the Belgian Tvvats?

The latest from the source "Mark S"..

"We've never had an owner on the Forbes wish list, have we? "

Reams will go ballistic when he returns from the Job Club later and sees this.

From skimming through it seems this supposed bid/ money is Israeli? Oh that would be fantastic - how to tie your average CARD protagonist in knots. I mean I assume some pretty robust pro Palestinian sentiment exists there..

Seems I missed all of the excitement yesterday. I assume we're still owned by RD and probably sold some players in the process?

Correct.

The same bloke who scammed Reams before came up with the genius idea of contacting him again and passed him takeover information pretending to be Tony Jiminez's cousin <cheers>

Quite why a relative of someone who had no interest in Charlton even while he owned it 3 years ago should have inside info , was lost on the Reamer<doh>

"Since I went public with the news 15 min ago it has gone viral"
