I'm looking to take my lovely lady.... (in your dreams..... definately not!!)... for a holiday in January and remember a lad on here mentioning somewhere in South Africa he had a retirement home....think it was near Durban?....but how nice it was,safe and relaxing,and I thought at the time..sounds great for us.
I've looked back,but can't find it....anyone have any info they could pass on please?

That would be me Brainy. I have a retirement home in Mossel Bay in Western Cape. The whole area of the Garden Route is stunning. Anywhere from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town is so beautiful, with so much to do.Beaches, Mountains, Game Reserves etc etc Its also extremely cheap. I'm very lucky to have a house there, can't wait to move permanently.

Thanks marra....Mossel Bay.....will look into going there. Any Hotels you can recommend?

I've had a look...it looks great! If you don't mind....where would be the easiest place to fly into?
