    If there isn't anyone at the company to speak to, eg union rep or even someone in HR. I'd suggest either the Citeziens Advise Bureua or if you have home insurance there is often leagal cover on there where they can give you advise.

    I've used the legal cover on my home insurance for work issue before and it doesn't cost anything.

    I do a bit of work for payroll in my current job. If you get paid on Friday technically the money is yours already as it will have left your employers account,it just wont show in your account until Friday. At this moment in time its in some virtual money land where no one can touch or affect it.
