I like their beer. Thar's about as much praise I can give them from what I've encountered.

Two fatal flaws with the west coast mate. The cost of living is astronomical and watching the football at 5 in the morning is ****e. Saying that i would move out west again in a heart beat, if money wasn't an option. The bay area is just awesome.

One flaw for me would be the small issue of the whole of the west coast of America buggering off into the Pacific!!

2012 was not so much a movie, more a documentary of things to come <nahnah>

One of the best contacts I have is a Pole, well him and his mate, they have done half of my house up for peanuts, to a proper top spec as well. I'd have a Pole grafter over any soft arse Brit lazy layabout sandwich-asker coffee-begging **** any day of the week.

I'm sure they're industrious good people on the whole but I can only speak for my own experiences. I know that they're not all neo-nazi or scoundrels and rouges, in fact most won't be. But I do know an unhealthy amount in my town are causing problems for all manner of reasons.

Aye, it ain't cheap, especially around San Fran, hence why I said you need a lot of money in the bank for the life!

We've literally just booked, within the last hour, for 18 days, San Fran, Yosemite, Pismo, Lax, San Diego and Vegas for a lads trek next May. First time we've all been single for a long while and we thought '**** it, book it now and any lasses come on the scene they can deal with it'.

Gonna be awesome, gonna do 6 flags been meaning to last 4 times I've been!

All the Polish, Lithuanian guys around our way work their arses off. They've got a good reputation for hard work yet you still get idiots complaining that they're taking jobs!

The idiots seem to be so ****ing thick they didn't realise there's nowt stopping applying for the same work!

Round here there can be as much as 10 eastern Europeans to a 2 up 2 down terraced house creating constant antisocial behavior while being paid cash in hand by polish employers which they send out of the country.

That's the downside of this issue that needs to be tackled head-on by those in charge though mate.

Around Peterborough, up the A1 from here, the number of europeans providing cheap labour around the fens, covering work that Brits won't do, are causing big problems in schools, the NHS and other public services.

It's a no-win situation. The businesses need their labour but the public sector can't cope with their presence.

Here it's not work the Brits won't do, they're Jobs unavailable to brits. It's eastern Europeans with money, buying and extending houses and ex pubs and hiring their own to do them up to cram out with more eastern Europeans, it's an expanding circle which is leading to the businessmen buying more houses for more eastern Europeans to move into. The Home Office is all over the shop.
