    Just finished The Old Man and the Sea, superb book. Right up there with the best books I've ever read.

    Just started Hitchhiker's guide. Not read it and one of those books I think needs to be read. Got the whole series to go through.

    It seems everyone is judging this on his previous work but if you look into it even his harshest critic (who was probably Faulkner) liked this book, it's simplistic and honest and a joy to read.

    I've read quite a bit of Hemingway and it's my favourite. Good film adaptation as well with Spencer Tracey as Santiago <ok>
