Of course no one knows what the alternative will be like Joe but people will eventually give someone else a chance just for that reason alone, its the age old attitude 'well they can't be any worse' way of thinking <ok>

Government's aren't directly responsible for credit crunch's or recession of course they're not but they are responsible for keeping the finances in a good shape to put money aside to prepare for future bad times which is something that Labour didn't do because they we're too busy spending like it was going out of fashion <doh>

Well if you're living in the UK and you don't think your government could get any worse then you're a bit silly aren't you. We could have Syria's government, wouldn't that be great. Vote based on policy, and nothing else. That, or don't vote.

Britain has only had three changes of government since 1979 so that speaks volumes <ok>

I made a valid point as too one of the things that go through peoples minds when in the polling booth and you try to turn it around on me! <doh>

Is it that hard to understand? If people don't think it could be any worse, then they just have to switch on the news. Look at all these countries who have governments far worse than ours! Just because that's a thought that goes through people's minds, it doesn't mean they're right to think that way. In fact they're dead wrong.

No Joe its not too hard to understand as they're Presidents who have acted like dictatorships which is a big ****ing difference to Britain <doh>

Egypt, Libya & now Syria - none of them were officially dictatorships but they behaved as such. <ok>

you will be the one proved deluded 100%.....labour leading the polls and pulling away...and labour are not to blame for the mess it was the Banks and a world recession amd the demise of the euro that caused most of the mess but the only way the tories can try to score points is forget the real reasons and blame labour for everything, well the public have stopped buying that garbage at last as the excuses have worn thin for their shambles they are making and what are the tories doing .....spending more money than labour did and nothing happening. growth was suppose to be well over 7% by now so they promised and what is it???? less than 2% and only that because of the olympics and the queens jubilation......the Tories will get hammered in the next election if they ever last that long....has to be up there with thatcher as the worse government ever.......
 
Labour will be in next I reckon, but I can't help but think they haven't taken full advantage of the coalition's unpopularity. Ed Miliband just seems very weak.
 
I think ed has grown on people after the labour conference and he is not as daft as people once perceived him....mind you i would vote for homer simpson if he was leader, anything to get rid of any tory government....One thing for sure is once we out them it will be a hell of a long time before they get anywhere near power again...<ok>

So you're pinning all your hopes on mid term opinion polls which mean **** all as the only opinion poll that counts is the GE result itself <doh>

Are you crazy, no British government would forecast 7% growth in the very best of economic times let alone in dire austerity times so I don't know where you get that from?

Labour will not be rewarded power for a very long time simply because they are so hated from the damage they caused, their apparent popularity is weak as its only because of the unpopularity of the coalition government as its the opposite to when Labour we're in power when the Tory leads we're built on Labour dislike - nothing more, nothing less.
 
The Conservative's will also lose votes from a hell of alot of disabled People , due to them doing **** all about how ATOS are treating them.

My god this is trotted out a lot.

Who is really to blame for countries not having money? Us that is who.

Here's the scenario:
Bank offers you £10,000 loan
You accept
Who is the fool?

Labour government decides that £15k is the minimum a family canlive on and..........says earn as little as you want and we'll make up the difference in tax credits.

After a few years decides £15k should've been £50k and its a free for all.

So it is us that put our pen to paper to take money we could not afford both in terms of the banks and the governments benefits relabelled as tax credits to all.

At the end of the day theTorys aren't going to remove the tax credits. Not just that the damage has bee done and the effect of removing them would cause a depression but it would definitely lose them the next election.

This has been the same in all countries in Europe. Governments with idealist policies defeating their own objectives. It's good to try and level the playing field however you need to know that the scales are reliable!!!!

So before you pin 100% blame on the banks ask yourselves, Did they force you to take the money? And before you complain about the Torys did you not complain about too many chiefs and not enough Indians in the hospitals before the last election? Because there have been far too many 'jobs for the boys' in the public sector for a long time now!!!

He certainly is honest, which is a breath of fresh air, and I do like his foreign policy. However, I don't like libertarian domestic policy. I'd be curious to see it in action because it's never been done before, but I don't think it would be good.
