    Well the tournament has got off to a dramatic start with the Poland v Greece game: 2 sendings off and a penalty save and it's still not over yet.

    As for Eddie Jordan, what can I say...

    Verstappen Vs Magnussen

    The european champions of 1988 face off against the champions of 1992 to kick off group B also known as.... The Group of Death <heebeejeebees>

    Interesting facts
    1) Denmark didnt actually qualify for the 92 championships and were just a stand in for Yugoslavia who were having domestic troubles and kicked out by Uefa. Interestingly their most famed player Michael Laudrup decided to retire before the taunament <doh>
    2) Jos and Jan are famous for being stand ins for top teams but it was Jos who replaced Jan at stewart GP back in 97

    Schumacher vs Lamy

    The second game of the so called ..... group of death..... is germany vs portugal. Germany are sure to be a favourite for the taunament but Portugal can look pretty handy too.

    Interesting Facts:
    1) Lamy has only scored one point in F1 and that was in austrailia 95 when scumacher had already wrapped up the title yet crashed into Alesi at ferrari who he swapped places with the following year.
    2) There are more football fan clubs in Germany than anywhere else in the world. they also have the largest F1 fanbase
