Sorry mate, only just seen this. I am gutted that we've been relegated but it might be the best thing to happen to us. We've got a young side, who are in reality one of the most talented teams in the country. I am confident of a swift return to the top table. It's been more of a confidence issue as much as anything this season. It looks as though it's 2 results that are going to have cost us. We had something like a 70 lead against Notts with them 6 down, but they recovered to set about 130 and we got bowled out for about 90. Then against Hampshire, on the day of the Semi Final as it happens, we had them 8 down with 15 overs to go but couldn't get the remaining wickets. That's about 29 points we've missed out on there, and we're going down by about 7 points. Ideally we could do with a new face, ideally a bowler but we are quite cash strapped at the minute.
I just hope Warwickshire get their 7 wickets against Hampshire quickly today so the unclean don't get their filthy hands on it.
