Hollywood churns out too many sequels these days. It's just people being lazy. If a film is sucessful, they make a sequel, and 9/10 it is a pointless one. Hangover 2? Transformers 3? Kung Fu Panda 2? Seriously?

Not sure about Harry Potter. They could hardly make film versions of the first three then just not the rest. Plus I really liked the newest one, it was much darker. I do agree over the others though

Harry Potter is a bit harsh, there was always meant to be 7!

I worry about the Inbetweeners! The whole reason Extras and The Office were so funny was because Ricky Gervais knew when to say no!

You appear to have missed the point of the whole film. Not only is it a shark, its a dinosaur as well <laugh>
i only descided to put it on here because it's confortablythe worst film i've watched. Seriously a guy just "borrows" some explosives off his mate at the army base. WHEN WOULD THAT EVER HAPPENcaps
obviously i'm aware that the whole Dino-shark thing may not be particularly realistic as well

    Not without Arnie I hope?!?!

"Consider that a divorce" is my favourite one liner from any film.

Kung Fu Panda 2 was actually decent, Hangover 2 was so-so and the cinema was full of people just laughing at anything (as if they felt they had to or only found something funny because they were told it was), but then the first one was vastly overrated in the first place!

Just been to see Bridesmaids with wor lass and it was pretty decent (if a little chick-flicky/hollywood cliched), it had one of my favourite comedy actors in out of the IT crowd, Chris O'Dowd, as well.

I think the Hangover is one of those thats gets funnier after a couple of watches...Lots of throwaway lines that are actually far funnier than the in the face slap stick stuff you'd notice in the cinema! Saw the 2nd one and was disappointed they didn't take advantage of the opportunity...They could've done so much with film and it would've been a box office smash regardless, as it was, they just remade the first one in a new location!

Arnie used to drink in 'The Black Lion' on Bayswater Road in the early 70's. Not a lot of people know that.

Agreed, the first one was great because of those lines that you could say to your mates later and everyone would just start laughing. 2nd one didn't even nearly live up to it for me

My old science teacher told us he used to train with Arnie...He also used to leave photos of himself posing in a thong next to the bin and would insist on everyone using sharp pencils, he's since left my school 'on medical grounds' ... A lot of people know that!

How can they remake Total Recall without Arnie when its only 20 years old? God damn it that film is awesome, nobody can deliver lines like "Consider this a divorce" after shooting his wife like Arnie. Terrible idea!

    Edit -

Hadn't noticed this <laugh> glad to see I'm not the only one.

I've watched it a few times though and it just wasn't really that funny imho, maybe because I was made to watch it by a few friends who had hyped it up so much as well as the adverts and when I finally got to watching it I just felt like, "Is this it?" and so it was made into somethings it wasn't (bit like LA Noire for gaming this year) so I was left disappointed.
I generally watch a film more than once if that's the case as like to give them a chance, but just didn't find it funnier on the next few watches.

It was good don't get me wrong, it just wasn't "the funniest film of the summer" and didn't live up to its hype, that's why I gave the second one a chance as I thought the premise was a good one but both could have been done so much better. Again just my opinion though!
