I think Spurs fans have too high expectations of their club. Yes they’ve got a shiny new stadium and some decent players, but they haven’t won anything of significance since 1991. Even Wigan and Portsmouth have been more successful in recent seasons. Also their fans are generally quite ugly and smell of moldy cat sick.
Well me neither, but you know what it's like when moggy must have hacked up a fur ball and left it behind the sofa. A few weeks later you're like 'what's that horrible smell' and then you find it. I used to know a bloke called Pete who smelt like that. And I don't think it was a coincidence that he was a Spurs fan either.
I heard a Spurs fan say the other day "im happy with mourinho while it looks like we can win summit, soon as that goes, I'll think he's **** and want him gone" fair play init, completely honest assessment. I think Spurs have expectations of being in and around the top 6 dont they? it was only cos of the insane form at the start of the season people suggesting they're something much more. The expectation all along was a top 4 push if they make good signings and keep injuries low. Looking at the top 6 currently, you've got City, Utd, Leicester, West Ham, Chelsea and Liverpool. Bar West Ham who will drop away next season, or even in the coming games, its a really hard group to break into that. Arsenal, Spurs and Everton have a tough task.
