crawley after their great win at hull in the cup have flown out to a training centre in portugal as they concentrate on the league and the small matter of beating stoke at home in the next round

in the meantime the shrews are off on a midwinter break to borth sands, where team bonding will continue with a night visit to aberystwyth to envigorate the players.

and who will return fit to take L2 by storm why the shrews of course. lord help vale at the greenhous meadow on saturday. it is understood vale are spending a day at alton towers. floreat salopia

i know the pub, the garthanghad inn. a nice pub but no real ale, 3 years ago when i was last there. i lived in llwyngwril for 4 years when i was young. borth sands is a change but i like the beautifull mawddach estuary area best. they used to have real ale in the fairbourne hotel but sadly it has been closed for years

yes i do know the family well. i have recently been in an successful campaign to keep the village school open but it is the welsh assembly and gwynedd county council who have won the day.

as a matter of interest i collect postcards of this delightful village, so far i have 225!

shame that, next time your down that way, give us a shout ..Ill have a beer with ya in the Garth <ale> have your post cards been put on line?

no they just live in albums, sadly i would not know how to put them online. i have one postcard of the garth produced by oscar miller, pub landlord standing outside his pub in circa 1952. there are several cottages up for sale and were it not for my committments in devon and wiltshire i would move to llwyn, tomorrow
