I'm increasingly starting to believe the SOL will be extended and improved at the end of the season, I don't think it's automatically linked to our finishing place.

Little clues are starting to appear and KLD/SAFC have shown how dynamic they are and how things are, all of a sudden, done.

I doubt there's any thoughts of waiting a few seasons to see how we do.

I don't believe the club will delay the work to move the away supporters only to go through more upheaval a season or two later.

Money for such work is no longer simply taken from the transfer budget pot.

There'll be supporters 'locked out' of the ground for many of our home matches and kids, on the cusp of attending their first games, simply won't be able to go.

It must be seriously annoying to KLD that a rotten old ground, up the road, is hosting Euro 2028, when the SOL could be, and should be, easily modernised and extended. I don't believe the club will be left in that position again and we'll all just have to accept being moved around the ground ...

... just like the club shop, hospitality, and other changes, once it's done it's done and we'll quickly forget how it was before.

IMO it's happening and pointless hanging around, clubs like Fulham, Villa, Leeds, etc are all going for it ... so should we.
Extending the SOL would just make sense given how the club is growing and how football is generally. Chuck in the Sheepfolds developments and possible future nimbyism and extending now will counter anything in the future.

Hopefully KLD is working with Sir Bob in looking at options.

Many thought Sir Bob was daft building a 42k stadium when our average attendee at the time was 17k. Sir Bob wasn’t daft snd hopefully KLD shares Sir Bobs vision, Given how he is developing our club I think he does

I’m happy for him to stay wide for now, especially away from home. Sadiki and Diarra have been very good. Xhaka obviously the first name on the team sheet.
Yeah I think those 3 have been very good and I'd feel for Sadiki, I just think we need a little extra creative spark in the middle and also Enzo has that bite and tenacity as well. Maybe not the energy of Sadiki but not a huge drop off either. He worked his bollocks off out wide against Brentford, so I wouldn't be concerned about that.

It’s a long season and they will all have a part to play. Good problem for RLB to have

Agree with that mate, especially in home games against ‘lesser’ sides. I’d love to see this…

Diarra - Xhaka - Le Fee
Mayenda - Brobbey - Adingra

Think Talbi will be good, but may need a bit of time to adjust. Wonder if we do see Mayenda on the right when Brobbey is up to speed, or if we play Traore there instead.
