It's straight up ****ing weird that the club don't seem to think his situation is worthy of an update. There's been rumours of a setback for months now and apart from Slutsky vaguely saying it's serious, which it already was, there's been nothing from the club to clarify.
He's contracted with us to June 2018, I'm going to say we'll be very lucky to see him in a City shirt again. Out until minimum Christmas (Guess work) few months for proper fitness work March /April time. Any later than that on the injury and I very much doubt we'll see him again.
I fear he might go the same way as Joe Dudgeon, loads of promise but never able to fully exploit it after serious injury.
It's starting to look that way. Isn't this his second setback on the same injury? A year so far, another to go. Even if he does come back I'll doubt he'll be the same player and he'll have missed a large chunk of time which would have been critical to his development.
