the climate for the championship has changed, less money [ previous 2 years losses have to be made up ] so contracts/wages are tighter. So would make sense that any player from outside or within is now on the "losing side" .. Callum should be looking at getting a 2 or 3 year plus 1 for around £18,000 per week + bonuses
I agree, but hopefully someone who provides assists and goals, both of which Callum has consistently failed to do.
My comments are not on what they have or might have in the future but cost at the point they say BYE BYE Callum [ or anyone else] there is no guarantee a replacement for Callum provides any assists, only an assist should someone score!!! [another thing peeps do not consider when they say N) or few assists] management says run up and down the wing get the crosses in ... so they do, odd occassion can cut inside or momentarily replace striker who has found himself out of the box "on wing position " Its called the wider picture ... thats why the manager says "SO AND SO IS DOING A FINE JOB... FANS SAY IS CRAP" who would you believe, if you disagreed with comment, "yourself" !!! or other fans !!! that is maybe the problem NP has .. players have up to 5 or 6 years training witha purpose to suit "the plan" now having to untrain that theology for another! a younger player [ Tanner] coming in "WILL LOOK GOOD" ... NP says OK you do it this way.. thats prime objective, its your job just do that way if the intended player doesnt perform not your fault ...............
Pring has put more crosses in during his spell on the left midfield than Callum does. Obviously we don’t know what the future holds but based on the time he’s been with us Callum doesn’t cross the ball often enough and when he does the quality is not great. Based on previous games Callum has not provided value for money. During the interview with GT on RB RG said we need better value, I suggest Callum is one of the players he has in mind. In his defence he may be playing to instruction, but I doubt it. He flatters to deceive
Spot on, he seems incapable of completing his job, he either beats his marker and puts in a poor cross or hits hits the first defender or cannot even beat his marker. Jesus if he is worth 18k a week football is totally f*****.
of course the other side of the coin is he would need someone to pass to!! and we suspect a striker [other than Andi is needed ]
I compared him to pring, who does get decent crosses in. He has the same strikers to pass to as Callum does, so how come he manages it ?
How would he know? he watches limited highlights and reads reports and hangs on to the words of some on here.
Todays Wiz post [ CF ] says defenders are defenders, Pring breaks from back when opportunity arises runs up field and crosses how many assists / goals has there been? Good when they do that. One player who always sticks out in my mind who who was brilliant at that was TJ back in 60's/70's was a better winger than Jantzen Derrick ...........lol
Germany defender Antonio Rudiger, 28, has been angered by Chelsea's latest contract offer, which is short of his wage demands by £60,000 a week. ... Glad we dont have that problem!!!!
Pring does put decent crosses in, obviously he’s then reliant on someone getting on the end and f, and converting them, not his fault they don’t. Callum on the other hand rarely puts in a decent cross, that’s the difference.
I might put my name forward. I’m 54, overweight and a pisshead - but I can deliver a cross with Beckham-like accuracy - with both feet. I can’t run any more mind - so although I can deliver a pinpoint cross from either side, I’d need 10 minutes to shuffle from one side to the other! I’d settle for £5k per week in lieu of my mobility constraints.
I was more into Rugby [ convert from halfway line + abit ] so taking a penalty shot either foot was a screamer ... many a time they had to douse the ball to put the flames out.... played as a winger [ wing back ] on odd games of football and scored a few ...not many, played only about 20 games in 7 years scored about 10 or so ... did cross either side but needed to on right foot [ penalty was 1 pace wham either foot ]
O'Dowda eager to start on front foot https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/odowda-eager-to-start-on-front-foot/
He’s a nice lad & talks a good game , will run about all day but very little end product unfortunately, a shame I had high hopes when he arrived, but he’s had plenty if opportunities and flatters to deceive.
