TF getting fleeced again. I know we're desperate, but he needs to start learning and fast. I dont want this trouble maker at our club one bit, and for 70k a week. We are a club gone mad and a laughing stock. Rightly so.
Tip in Spain/ France ESP Catalonia if anyone acts over friendly and strikes up what seems a very innocent thing Get ready Go to amber alert Better still do if you clock it mug them as ex brother of law did They never never wire alone Rural France 9 years ago on a river my friends using my little fiat had it broken into and my tackle box was stolen ... Three weeks later I was there with a group of friends same place but a few English cars I clicked the trial bike scout and climbed the cliff to find that one my mates jeep windows done On cue a red hatchback turned up and thus is down a track few people go Four inside looking high and mighty I asked them what's going on? but knew they were not from the Languedoc My point it's all planned up Things got tense as they saw I had Paris plates them Alsace Handbags but in the end I made it clear that we would take our chances A decent rock on their motor was enough I reported it of course and the French when the send in the bad boys they pull no punches They were all imprisoned for 4 years each This year abroad I fear it will be worse Punch first
Agreed ............... I'd rather bring Frank Worthington out of retirement than suffer with this problem child.
Back in the summer I called the lack of info on signings a worrying sign, funny how 9 months on and more than a few now seem to agree. Fickle eh? Undisclosed transfer fee = we got mugged. Again. The tide needs to turn now, we must start demanding that fees are disclosed to ensure due diligence. Standard business practice. I find posting on this board akin to permanant de javu most of the time we discuss the same mistakes from differnet angles and points of view, but somewhere down the line something has to give. If TF wants to stay and fight good luck to him, I asked he face facts and address the mistakes he's made and in return for his moment of clarity I would again say he is the right man for the job. Jury's still out for me I'm afraid. (Stop reading if your name is Hulse,Campbell,Bothroyd,Cisse,Johnson or Zamora) So who really thinks this deal represents a new direction? A 31yr old journeyman striker on god only know how much, Haven't we been here before several times in recent years. Do we never learn? My only hope is that this is not a realistic target and more a mind game on HR's part. Time will tell. Why did you allow the sale of our top striker again TF? oh yes reason undisclosed..........
QUOTE It is possible that Odemwingie will move to Loftus Road, although Albion have made it clear that QPR will need to return with a bid considerably higher than the £3m offer that was dismissed on Monday. Albion would prefer to keep Odemwingie but the club have been placed in an awkward position because of the Nigerian's outspoken comments on Twitter in which he accused the club of "stealing" his loyalty and showing him a lack of respect. Steve Clarke, the Albion head coach, said that Odemwingie will face disciplinary action for his extraordinary attack on the club and admitted he was "disappointed" by the player's conduct. "What I want to say is that it's an unfortunate situation that didn't have to develop," said Clarke, who confirmed Odemwingie will not feature at Everton on Wednesday because he has missed the last three days of training as a result of his newborn son going back into hospital and only recently being discharged. "QPR have put two bids in for Peter, the club have looked at them and turned them down, feeling that at this time, in this window, the bids weren't acceptable for us. The ball's back in QPR's court – they have to decide whether they want to make another bid. "Obviously Peter's comments haven't helped the situation. But I have to say I feel that Peter has been really badly advised and I think Harry alluded to it in his press conference [on Monday], when he was talking about gang warfare with agents fighting and trying to get a bit of the deal. "I think there has been a number of things going on behind the scenes that has maybe turned Peter's head a little bit and that's unfortunate for us, unfortunate for QPR and unfortunate for Peter because now we've got a situation that's developed over the last few days that's not good for anybody." Asked whether it was possible Albion could keep Odemwingie, Clarke replied: "Yeah, I think we can keep him because if QPR don't come up with a bid acceptable to West Bromwich Albion, then I don't see what the solution is. You can't just let a player go. The club are entitled to get what they feel is a good price for Peter in the window, so that's the situation we are in at the moment. "If it doesn't happen and Peter's here on 1 February, then it becomes a different story, there are different bridges that have got to be mended and different conversations that have got to be had. But at the moment that's only speculation." UNQUOTE So it's not about principle, now. So far as West Brom are concerned, it's all about money...
On 5live last night they commented on the Odemwigie situation and said...."anyone checked twitter, he usually comes on twitter about now and rants some dribble"... time was about 11.00.....following on his self quote about the rant about WBA was Guinness induced Methinks we might be looking at a player with a serious drink problem!!!
Think we're looking at a player who's frustrated at not getting first team game time with West Brom, and has been offered this plus a BIG pay rise by QPR, and is being denied by his management. Add the fact that he's burned his boats with some of his team mates over this issue, and you can see why he might be drowning his sorrow in a Guinness or two...
Who needs friends ..................... he can always hit the turps and have a party with all his mates, in the red phone box across the road from the stadium.
Sorry I seem to have got it wrong again# ODEMWINGIE Ruled out of 30/1 trip to Everton by Steve Clarke. The Nigerian has been given time off to spend with his newborn son in hospital and hasn't trained for three days. - Expected back 03 Feb
Can't see this as good business, what do you think? Hoilette for Odemwingie http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-brom--qpr-transfers-1564242
He seems to be permanently injured...we need him gone if we go down.. and he isn't keeping us up. So maybe not bad business...what do you lot think??
Steve Clarke just said they "haven't heard from QPR for two days". I imagine we'll put in a marginally improved bid right in the final hours of the window, so West Brom won't have time to muck about and stall for more. If we'd bid a couple of days ago, i'd imagine they'd have rejected that in the hope for something better.
Harry, 2 faced bastard ~" statments" players are asking to much, ~ agents are ruining the game. ~ there should be a wage cap. Could QPR in 12 months be the new Pompy, they went down the spend, spend, spend, road
Didn't Hoillet cost us about 6 mill? We wouldn't pay 6 mil for Odemwingie. West Brom must take us for mugs, one is 22 and the other is 31.
