£70k per week and £4m !!!! Buy the entire MK Dons squad instead. Some of them will have the desire if not the ability. This madness has to stop, we are totally unsustainable as a business proposition with such ridiculous apparent wages, such a very small capacity ground and no realistic prospect of becoming rapidly some form of money spinning overseas brand. I hate to say this, but to me it is just looking more like the Pompey mistakes all over again. Desperate times. I feel for Tony, his trust and faith in Hughes has cost him dear.
This is clearly a big pile of steaming 'speculation' I'm sure the figures being banded about are very wide of the mark. If we do sign him and PO agrees (I'm going to go Keegan-esque) I will love it if TF details the deal, LOVE IT! I'm getting a little sick and tired of the constant vitriol being directed at QPR in regards to finances. We are a club with 18K attendances, of course that doesn't finance our players and their wages, it doesn't take Mervyn King to work that one out!!!!
So,now everyone is listening to the Gossip??...Lets wait and see shall we,but desperate times means desperate measures!. I dont think he will be an rrr and I just think Cisse might not have been too bad an option after all?
I would seriously consider smacking a football agent's head in There are lists of people where violence would be the only option as without serious injury they would start again should as a back was turned They are parasites I pray for reform
Think Don Hutchinson in the PL studio have it pretty much spot on. Says he think he has had his head turned and could tripple or even quadruple his wages with us. Reckons he's on £10-20k at WBA and could be earning anything between £40-60k if he joins us.
In the NHL, all salary and deals are public knowledge. i think they should be here as well as it would stop clubs paying players stupid amounts in both wages and fees as the fans would go nuts.

It is not vitriol from me, it is serious concern. The Mittals are not in this for fun. If the numbers being banded around are anywhere near the mark it is not inconceivable that we could be losing some tens of millions a year. I recall Amit cutting the hospitality food budget and flowers in the boxes in The Four Year Plan to save a few quid. We are all passionate about our club, but if it is to survive, you must appreciate that it is a business and I feel it unlikely that our backers will be like Ambramovich and bankroll us without some prospect of recovering their investment.
No he's not!! And if he's been promised that he can play in the centre that means Remy being either left out or forced out wide. Madness!! He's not even that good!
I'm not too happy with what I'm reading on this thread. I realise that it's only speculation but I bet the figures being bandied about aren't too far off the truth. Hasn't our club learnt nothing from the last three or four transfer windows? Odemwinge's attitude towards his current employer tells us everything we need to know about this odius toad. He is not for us. Compare Odemwinge to say Michu at Swansea, half the price and I bet half the wages too as well as being six years younger. Which of these players would you rather have?
Flyer, it's rare a Philly hockey fan makes sense, but the above is spot on. You obviously haven't been hit in the head with too many pucks! Bruins, in case you're wonderin'........

I was reading through some of Collymore's tweets this evening and was getting wound up. I'm as much concerned about the future of my club and the implications that spending ridiculous amounts of money could have. I guess I was simply trying to state; how many clubs in the PL or the NPC for that matter are not millions+ in debt??? Yet we seem to be getting all the negativity from the media. Football sold its soul a long time ago, unfortunately we are where we are. I'd personally take a punt on Charlie Austin, younger, cheaper and likely to stay with us if we do go down......
Even Hooper would be cheaper plus hes have sell on value. £3m plus 70k a week or £8m and 40k a week, someone do the maths over 3 years.
Heil hooper! As i have said before he is the one we should go after. Anyway odenwingues scoring ratio does not convince me.
This actually happened to 'Arry in Spain a couple of years ago on one of his scouting trips. Classic 'Arry. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-12257958 "I got some sweets, me and Kevin, and it was so packed. The next thing there's two guys on their knees in front of me and I felt someone pull my overcoat. "I thought 'what are you doing?'. The next thing he's got my keys on the floor. "I thought 'is he a blind man or someone having trouble walking properly?' What are they doing, these two blokes? "I'm going 'let go of my trousers', pushing them away. While I'm doing that they're rifling my pockets, there were about six of them. And then they went. The Spurs manager was in Spain to watch Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid "I thought 'what are they doing?' I went to put my hand in my pockets and realised what they'd done. "They took everything. All my money, credit cards, everything really." The Spurs manager said he did not believe the muggers knew who he was. "I just probably looked stupid or something, and they thought 'here's one here, he's not Spanish, obviously and we're looking for a foreigner'."
