I guess a positive outcome is still mathmatically possible, but the manner of our loss to Villa, after dominating the game and performing so well in the 1st half without scoring more goals (Samba x2, Bosingwa etc.), our players have their heads down psychologically - everyone looked totally devastated at the end of the game, then Wigan & Saints winning, Sunderland getting an undeserved point. Even Man Utd only managed to get a single goal past Reading at Old Trafford.
