More than 30 people slaughtered in nursery shooting: Thai ex-cop kills 24 children as young as two and multiple teachers before killing his wife and young son then taking his own life

My first helmet was a Phil Read replica.

I hadn't twigged from the earlier post that Phil Read was the Phil Read, if you know what I mean. My first helmet wasn't a Phil Read but I had one at some point as I tore around East Yorkshire on firstly a Honda SS50, then a Honda 125 - both plodding 4 strokes - before a Yamaha 200cc 2 stroke which went like **** off a stick but due to its twin leader drum front brake was not easy to stop.

Happy days.

RIP Phil.

Former Hull KR and Scotland prop Adam Walker has died at the age of 31.

Walker also had spells in Super League with Huddersfield, St Helens, Wakefield and Salford.

He was banned from playing for 20 months in 2017 after testing positive for cocaine after a game for Trinity at Widnes.

Don't follow RL, but I'm sure a few on here do and know this lad, 31 is no age. RIP

More than 30 people have been killed in a mass shooting at a nursery school in Thailand.
Children are among the dead, after a gunman opened fire in the town of Nongbua Lamphu in the northeast of the country on Thursday afternoon.

What the **** is going on in the world?
I feel physically sick.

RIP those beautiful souls.

This is truly awful, RIP.

I’ve just found out that an old mate of mine, Chris Carter, died suddenly earlier this year, we worked together for quite a few years and it was an entertaining time, he was just like a real life Del Boy, proper character, even had the accent as he hailed originally from Croydon.

He was just a year older than me and it’s really made me feel my own mortality. We had some laughs, and even though I’d not seen him for a few years it makes me really sad to think that I’ll never see him again.

RIP Chris aka Croydon aka Dodgy, I’ll miss you <rose><rose><rose><peacedove>

Amazing to read the list of awards and nominations she received during her long career.
