Striking Partnership - Pogrebnyak and AJ look like they are really enoying playing alongside each other. On this form, we should look to keep AJ if the right deal can be struck.

Ruiz or Duff - We look a much better team with Duff in there on the right-hand side. Understand Ruiz was a £10m signing but he doesn't fit the team if we play two up front.

Dembele in centre midfield - Was sceptical at first but this looks like a masterstroke from MJ. Dembele ran the game today.

Right back - Hughes just doesn't look comfortable there. Understand Kelly was injured but Baird is a better back-up than Hughes.

Overall a comprehensive victory against a Wolves team that was set up badly from the beginning. They would have been much more of a threat if Doyle had some company up front in the first half.

Well done Fulham

Neither Baird nor Ruiz were on the bench today, so guessing they were both injured. Hughes does his best at RB, but I get the feeling that Duff, AJ etc don't want to give him the ball when he's in an advanced position because he can't cross so he just ends up as a spare man.

Jol said Baird wasn't available because of a "private thing". He disappeared for a while earlier in the season and I remember someone saying a family member was ill so this may be the same problem

I thought Hughes did pretty well today but wouldn't want him in that position against a better team than Wolves

It should be a priority in the summer to sort out a right-back.

May be seeing as we have quite a lot of attacking midfield and wide players
is that we concentrated on a good old fashioned defender so that we get
a solid back four.

I wonder sometimes if Simon Davies could be put at right back as he has played there before.

Yes, I had noticed Jol's comment about Chris Baird's absence - understand his son has been poorly.

Hope he got a lift from the performance his mates put on and humbly, offer best wishes to Chris and his family.

Well said, Cottager. I'm sure we all echo that sentiment. Hope to see you back in black and white with all well soon, Bairdinho.
