Faye no longer has the legs to play in midfield, he turns like a tank. This is not a dig, just a general observation.

Got to agree Hobbs should be in there every week.

Says a lot when Brucey has to turn to his lad to be a presence in midfield - he's given up on Oli being able to do that.

He play Bruce in midfield obviously to deal with Trotter as we all know Oli can't do it. Say what you like but we won the game and Bruce got a lot of praise on the radio, Bruces tactics always end up coming good and I'm sure you lot moaning before the game notices that.

Everybody was shocked to see the starting line up on Saturday but we got the three points and thats all that matters. I cant see Bruce playing centre mid @ Brighton though

Me either, I think Sheff Wed was the wake up call Bruce needed, and his tactics worked against an equally physical side on Saturday.

I can see Evans being recalled, or even Koren playing deeper with Gedo coming in. (the latter is probably a little optimistic for his first week here though.)

I hope Cairney gets a start as I think it will be his type of game

If only his mother had run a bit faster. Then we wouldn't have Alex. [joking BTW, the plan worked on Saturday.]

It was always going to be Jay Simpson with the way Millwall play @ home. Same again @ Brighton i would assume.

You are. Bruce jnr played there to do a specific job which he did almost to perfection. Millwall is no place for weakness.

Where they ? Some maybe but not all. Steve Bruce set his team out for Millwall and how they play at home. It worked to perfection - result wise at least.!!
