Marko, I think someone else summed it up nicely. Can we suspend him for a while, but hang onto his registration? He doesn't get paid. We save money, but anyone trying to tap him up won't be able to get him. Alternatively, we cancel his contract & get im off our wage bill. I only got this from reading about the Tevez thing in the papers, but I think it's a very drastic option that the player and players' union would go mad over. Doubt the club will be able to do it. I think with the Tevez situation it's because he isn't even turning up to training anymore. It's ridiculous that AOB has got a pay check of thousands of pound this week.
Well no, it is a breach of contract that can either result in a termination of contract in which we pay nothing out for or he gets fined a month's wages or so. Its perfectly acceptable to do that and the players' union can get stuffed
