    I think he's surplus at Man Utd now Ashley Young is there. Giggs is still class so Obertan will be looking for first team football.

    Sir Alex doesn't always get it right with players, Veron, Rossi, Leighton, Bosnich, (Roy) Carroll etc... although given regular football, Obertan might be better than his occasional appearances suggest?

    You're right. Not a circus, at all....a circus is well run, and it is not the butt of the country's jokes.

    Fair amount of clowns at the top, though!

    Obertan over Barnetta for me Obertan has great potential played great at bordeaux destroyed our reserves hasn't had a run in the Man Utd side could be a great signing if he gets a run of games only 22 years old.

    He's just not very good plain and simple. Ive just seen nothing to suggest that he can step up. playing well against the reserves does not mean we should take him seriously, if thats the way it goes Phil airey should be our number 1 striker.

    If this comes off surely it would have been better to just keep Routledge?

    I know Obertan is only 22 and it remains to be seen if he could perform given a run of games but if he can't do it while surrounded by some of the best players in the league it's not really assuring that he'd do it here.
