really? well if it makes you think you 'won' remember this quote: It didn't come into force until December 2005 and some confusion over it led to delays even then, so it wasn't really applicable until 2006. so what year was civil partenrship made legal again? Thats legal as in according to British law I havent argued with you re the figures, just explained where I got them from
My understanding is that there are is anything up to roughly 4m gay people in the UK or up to 7% of the population according to some stats Also over an 8 year period the marriage stats may be different, also see common law rules
here you go taken from CivilPartnershipInfo.co.uk A vast difference between a civil partnership and a civil marriage is that a civil marriage almost always contains religious aspects during the marriage. The word marriage is a religious word in itself. Additionally, a clergy can perform civil marriages, whereas only specified registrars can perform a civil partnership.
Not according to the Office for National Statistics: http://guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2010/sep/23/gay-britain-ons?cat=news&type=article They reckon 1.5% of the population, or about one million. As for marriage figures differing over the 8 years - you're right. I picked 2010, which was a high point for weddings in recent times: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2108188/Resurgence-marriage-After-official-report-showed-married-couples-happiest-weddings-increase.html
It survey 238,206 people across Britain depends if you think that is accurate or a lot of guesstimation just seen your edit thats just england and wales? also look at common law rules
Nope, I would say there is no guesstimation and that it is an accurate representation of the population of the U.K I think it's also safe to say that you are a complete and utter, fantasist, who spouts some serious ****e about having all these kids who you put through Stanford and M.I.T due to the incredulous sums of money you earn through your multiple business interestes. In short...you're ****wit
238,206+ is an absolutely massive number for a study like this. Where did your 7% figure come from? Not the ONS I would imagine. What edit are you talking about?
The edit with the daily mail link As for the study, and to much abuse, I have been involved in studies like this when doing for example the safety strategy I kid you not LOADS is 'made up' and most are very innaccurate. 1 year out of 250k questionnaires 9 returned. YES NINE and 6 books (strategy documents) were written from those 9 238k sounds a lot but not in terms of a 50m population. however if you want to see it otherwise fair do's to you . The upto 4m figure (its 3.6m) and upto 7% was a study done in around 2005 based on the workforce. Even with that study there was a lot of 'guesstimates'. basically they do a 'if 2m of the 30m workforce is gay, then simply double it as there are 60m people in the UK'. These are my words obviously If you look at what organisations like Stonewall say then they agree with me. They reckon there are loads of people who are LGBT who would not still admit it Looking at the amount of people who still tick 'christian' on surveys despite having no faith I would agree
ALL survesy have a large amount of 'guestimation'. Most have questions that are asked in a specific way to ensure a certain response Local authourities buy software for these surveys and the software amkes certain 'assumptions' or guestimations As for my Kids and money They are not of UNI age in this country or otherwise but I have 7 kids However by the will of Allah (swt) they are very bright and the world can be their oyster Financially I am secure, and business wise I work hard and so far have been successful. Own a couple of houses, couple of cars, no debts at all, money in the bank etc work hard and you can get it too
Well, of course you have Fan. What an amazing life you've led. Quite how you've managed to fit in having six kids and running your own business while undertaking 50 different jobs is quite something. Quite something indeed.
You are right, it has been an amazing life Did you not know I was a community safety officer once? sure I have mentioned it a few times anyhoo as long as you know now
I'd like to think that the 'disabled' part is, or jolly well ought to be, irrelevant. Even more the case on an Internet forum such as this. For instance, someone recently suggested I'm a black female - my first reaction was, why should that matter?
You're an idiot, Fan. What relevance did the years 2004 and 2005 have to your claim, when people couldn't enter into civil partnerships for the first year and 95% of the second? You've been asked the same thing repeatedly and you can't answer, because you know you're wrong.
