However Obama is only Israeli's bitch at the moment due to the proximity of the Presidential election. Notice Israel's current urgency to nail down promises from Obama on Iran, settlements etc.... If they get those promises they are free and clear, while they will prefer a republican president anyway as they have a natural predisposition to deny the existence of Palestinians, they have support whatever the outcome. Should they fail to get satisfactory promises they will throw their formidable lobby support behind the republican campaign in an effort to keep Obama from being re-elected. They fear, more than anything else, a second term president not overly sympathetic to their cause with a free mandate and free from the constraints of having to worry about a re-election campaign.
