I think he should be given a few more games. The only reason i'm saying that is it could go tits up big time if we were to sack him. Who'd we replace him with? I'm really not a Martin O'Neil fan. We're in a troublesome situation because we stuck with him over the summer. If we were to replace him we really should have done it at the end of last season. It's all his players now. If he were standing in front of me now though, i'd wring his neck. The fat clueless bastard.
Billofengland.......haha long time mate.. Good to hear from you, think you have arrived at the right time..
Hopefully now he has been faithful to the players who "got us the top 10 finish last year" (And lets be honest, Zenden, Mensah, Onuoha, Welbeck probably played more of a part than the likes of Elmo and Richardson) He will realise that his faith is misplaced, and start Vaughan, Gardner/Cattermole, get a left winger in, and play 2 up front. If you remember when we went on our post 5-1 excellent run, we played 4-4-2, and Bent was injured from England duty so dont say we miss him! (Although we do...) All Im saying is Wickham/Ji playing alongside Gyan with Larsson on the right and Vaughan working the ball through the middle seems like an attractive prospect. Id still recommend getting a proven striker in. The problem is, we've spent so much already this window we probably wont fork a whole load more out, although this spree has been balanced by the sale of Henderson. I just fail to see how so much money can be spent not addressing the glaring problems.
