You could build a powerful PC cheaper then the new xbox! To work properly? Over a billion people game on PC Just graphics i would look into that a bit more difference isn't that great. your talking out of your arse How much do you pay to play online on the xbox online? £3.33 per month(also monthly deals). most PC online games are free once you have bought the game. And the games are cheaper then xbox and ps3 and PC games will be cheaper when the new consoles come out. Each to there own
Anyone who plays games purely for the graphics imo are idiots. That is like whating porn for the storyline...
I am currently playing it too. I think that it says I am 47% through, and I have played about 6 hours, so it seems a fairly good length to me. Really liking this game. I don't think I could ever not get a PlayStation whilst Naughty Dog still make games for it. Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted, The Last of Us - I can't wait to see what they do next-gen.
I'm really enjoying it too. But is a 12-hour game really long enough!? I haven't played any of the Unchartered series, but may give them a go once I am done with this.
It took me 15 hours to finish The last of us, probably the best game i've played in years. Naughty Dog are one of the best game developers around right now, maybe only beaten by Rockstar.
Look at it this way. Games like Oblivion and Fallout offer around 50+ hours of gameplay, if you include the sidequests. Games like the Call Of Duty series can be completed in a couple of hours. The Last of Us is probably around middle of the park.
Yeah, you definitely should! Uncharted 2 is my personal favourite. Though, I believe Uncharted 3 is free with PS+ now.
I actually agree with most of what you've said here but I loved Skyrim! Maybe playing the PC version with DX11 made the whole scale and exploration of it seem much better, but I dunno really. I found it highly addictive and could quite easily go back and play through the whole lot again. It's also an interactive version of Game of Thrones minus the gratuitous sex and nudity too.
Really liked Oblivion mostly but I thought the main quest about closing the Oblivion gates was annoying. Skyrim seemed to work better on the main storyline.
Morrowind on the original Xbox is my favourite, it was a proper old school RPG. The gameplay is too watered down these days.
Only ever played FF8 properly, loved it. I like Skyrim, think its going in the right direction for adventure games, but Ocarina of Time is still the gold standard for me please log in to view this image ... I miss my N64
I don't think I'll bother for the first year or so, the graphics will barely be any better for that period. It always seems them to take a while to fulfill a console's potential (it took them 8 years to push FIFA to it's limit) On the subject of upcoming games, Watch Dogs looks pretty cool, and as usual, the next Assassin's Creed is the one I'll be waiting for. Black Flag looks awesome.
