Now that PS+ is needed for online play their servers will be much better. Sony foolishly tried to offer free online for the PS3 and didn't have the cash needed to make it work properly. Now they have the income for it there'll be a big improvement.
I would have been annoyed about charging for online play on the PS4, but to be honest, PS+ is worth it even without the online play. e.g. Next month you get Battlefield 3 and Saints Row 3, plus some others.

I think you are right Dessie, with it being paid the service will be much better. Am 90percent going to get PS4 next time. Gawge is right about the spying aspect of it, there is something just wrong about Kinect and as it comes as part of the package it is like they are forcing it on you.
You can disable the Kinect camera, so it isn't watching you all day. Your console doesn't have to connect to the internet, you can use your mobile phone. You don't lose your games, only the opportunity to play multiplayer, which is the same as the current situation. Consider yourself enlightened.
Eh? They said it had to be on at all times while the console is on. Also, don't believe everything they say.

That list has a lot of errors. Metal Gear and Battlefield (and Minecraft, probably others) are not Xbox exclusives. FF isn't a PS4 exclusive. Also, expect a lot more PS4 exclusives to be announced in the next couple of months - Naughty Dog and Media Molecule just a couple who haven't announced anything yet, and I can't wait to see what ND do after "The Last of Us".
You can disable the Kinect to respond to voice commands but you can't turn it off from responding to gestures. It has to be plugged in to turn the console on too.
With all the latest TV coming out that have cameras built in, Xbox one is least of your worries! Got both the ps3 and Xbox slim both overrated and just dust gathers in my home, but each to there own.
The Kinect Camera has to be attached for the system to work, but you can put it 'on pause' (that isn't the default though). Using your mobile phone still has to connect to the internet. Either way, you have to pay extra for these sort of features (e.g. Kinect camera) when you don't even want them. Prevailing opinion on unbiased gaming websites is overwhelmingy in favour of the PS4.
