The Mrs' cousin was in a couple of Little Britain sketches he also thinks that it wasn't funny.

He was also in The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog which I've never seen.

Precisely!! I've always said that, it's like Ricky had a premonition about it. I saw a couple of episodes of Mrs Brown and it struck how uncannily it was like When The Whistle Blows.

Miranda is the worst of the worst.

Ellewoods, I don't think you understand comedy if you think Dr Who is one...

My Hero with the half wit from Father Ted deserves a mention.

Again, maybe for the Irish but not for me.

I don't understand how it's got so big in the States. I know you like the whole Star Wars & Trek stuff, but it's very British & the pop culture references can be baffling. Plus, they fight the same enemies all the time. Considering he can go anywhere at anytime in the Universe it's pretty poor on the creative front.

    The new episodes are ****e.

I didn't mind when it first came back with Ecclestone.

Agreed, Ecclestone was my fave of the new lot. Hopefully Capaldi can bring something of the old episodes to it.

Its funny because this has come up in conversations alot over the years. No one I know can stand the show and no one knows anyone who watches it. But clearly someone watches it here because it is on tv (well only bbc america). My opinion is that the only people here who watch it are the people really into the UK. The hipster types who walk around with english tshirts on and only listen to british bands.

Curb is prettay, prettay, prettay good.

I watched 'Better Off Ted' on Netflix the other week, that was short lived but decent.

And despite it going against my instincts, I really enjoyed the US version of The Office.

Sure its like Friends. I expanded it to fit what I felt like talking about. At least I didnt go off on a name change tangent.
