The lassie was essentially ballast. The tea tray was well engineered however.

Lizzie Yarnold done us proud, when you consider she trains on a rail track some where. She has certainly has some nerve going down in one of these things. Well Done Lizzie, you have done the country proud.

Saw Elise Christie got DQ again in her semi final today This one looks a really unfair decision. Poor girl, she spoke so well afterwards. Very dignified despite it all. Hope she keeps at it. Clearly a talented girl.

Absolutely bizarre - it just shows that it's a bit of a joke sport (and the Beeb just showed Steven Bradbury's golden story to prove it). So much depends on crashes and rulings.

    I definitely would.

Haven't followed this Winter Olympics at all. I usually prefer Winter Olympics.

Have I missed the snowboard freestyle?

I will take your word for that. On the plus side it's official that British men are better at sweeping and polishing floors than British women. :emoticon-0100-smile

I was watching the Curling with a guy from Melbourne. He told me that "doing a Bradbury" is a term down under (presumably to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat). Having watched the Curling I think "doing a Murdoch" may represent something else. Don't think he's slept much since confirming a medal by winning the semi.

Interesting, British women don't know how to touch themselves properly? Comes as no surprise to be honest, most of them are bloody useless at touching blokes anarl.

I bet that Christie bird put a few quid on herself to get disqualified in all her events.

    She must have.

There's no other reason for it.

Either that or she's just ****.

Bit harsh imo. Having watched her first race can see why she wad dq. 2nd she was being so careful to not go near anyone and took her eye off the line. This time she loks to have been dq unfairly. Looking at the race they were all jostling. She has beaten all the other women in the final this year anyway. Why would she throw the races at the OG.

    I don't like the sport

it's just too luck based as the Bradbury race emphasises

Crossing the line 1cm out and you DQ etc, and Christie should no way be DQ in the 3rd race

I couldn't train for 4 years only for some **** to wipe you out in a heart beat

Agree it seems easier to get dq than a lot of sports but gutting for Christie.
