I find this Bengal Tiger hunt all a tad sad and more than a little revealing. I have read, or attempted to read, most of the threads that have been hijacked or derailed. I have little sympathy for how he is perceived on here, as he started by attacking others and is simply reaping his reward; but he also makes some, to me, some valid points. If folk have an issue with his thoughts on Black Holes then fine, if you know enough to qualify an opinion. I read him ask for a seperate thread to be opened and only saw it happen after someone else asked - the result was that he was wrongly accused (on his own, no others?) of derailing, with those self appointed Witch-Hunters then following him to the new, dedicated and well subscribed to thread, to carry out a far more aggressive and cynical act of derailing and, beyond petty, character assassination. I keep reading reference to his so-called deviant references to children and the disabled or mentally ill. My recollection, although I might of missed something, is not as it is portrayed. Yes, some language and tone might have been better considered, but I think the constant repetition is having a Robin Hood effect that is unwarranted, but, perhaps, deliberately contrived. There is, as always, much made of the freedom and cleverness found in calling him (anyone) a ****, endlessly. I fail to understand the need. Yes, of course there is a system censorship of swear words, I swear, but the constant throwing of it really is tiresome and pointless. Every now and then I see the odd half-hearted attempt at moderation which misses the mark and only appears to fuel the nonsense. I see little point in this false censorship/moderation when nothing was done to question why the urban definition of fletching was brought up in a contrived discussion - a simple reference would have sufficed (folk are able to search) but the poster wanted to shock us, young and old, censored or not, with the unabridged definition. Not one of this board's finest moments, in my opinion.
Hard to disagree with any of that. Not a proper excuse on my part, but I've not been on the board as much of late, and I've missed a lot of these 'exchanges'. Enough is enough. Dispute a point by all means, but some posters certainly just seem to attract personal abuse no matter what they post, and it's not fun to.watch and has spoiled.what could have been some interesting discussions. Exercise some restraint and tolerance people.

I have to disagree. This poster is the catalyst. His postings are hardly ever football or Hull City related and he derails more threads, than any other current poster. Posters have in the past described football forum posting as akin to being sat around a pub table. I consider this to be a fair analogy. This poster should show some degree of tolerance and exercise restraint, he would need to if he was sat at a pub table, with other Hull City supporters. He may well be a highly qualified and intelligent person, but this is a football forum. Perhaps, if he was to post, something, anything, without trying to be superior, less threads would be disrupted. It is about time he remembered that what counts on here isn't how much money a poster has, what qualifications, who he know's or what he or she does for a living, it is that we are Hull City supporters. He in my opinion forgot that from the moment he started posting.
That's a very one-sided view, as there are plenty on here who post to create argument and don't get the same treatment. What does Black Hole theory or films, on a OT threads have to do with football; Hull City or otherwise? The pub analogy is a red-herring.
Well said. But I doubt it will have much effect on the Bad Boys. Unless they are stopped, they will drive away more and more good posters from this board.

Bengals posted a few non-provocative posts yesterday after all the attacks on him so maybe abusing him helps.
Let's not beat about the bush, the man's a ****. He deserves to be told he's a ****. He deserved his ****ing stupid black hole thread derailing so he could see what it's like to have a thread of his own derailed. Just as he derails the majority of the threads he posts on. If we're being honest it wasn't really a thread of his, it was an off shoot of another thread he'd derailed. He doesn't post about Hull City. He shows no interest in Hull City. He offers no input about Hull City. His prime purpose on this board is to make himself appear superior to others, including yourself & attract as much attention as he can. He's a petty little twerp, & a ****. The fact is that the **** doesn't support Hull City. Never has. He may have been to see them a few times but his heart has always been with Spurs & Liverpool. He registered on the board on May 10th 2014 a week before the Cup Final.. He has openly admitted to have read nearly every thread prior to registering. He found the time to register but not to post until September when he posted a rather snotty & superior post regarding black holes. He didn't post in the run up to the Cup Final, during the Cup Final or after the Cup Final. He didn't post about the club strengthening over the Summer, old players leaving or new players coming in, he didn't offer anything regarding our first trips into Europe or our unspectacular exit. He didn't post on Match threads or MOTM threads or any Hull City related threads. He did, though correct numerous spelling mistakes, insult people, speak down to people in a patronising & superior manner & told you that you were, amongst other things, an "Ainthorpe nonce". His first Hull City related post was over 5 months after he registered & that was a one line load of ****. He's kept up his charade of being a City supporter for a while now whilst continuing to post nothing of interest City related, although recently his mask has slipped. He's also continued to flaccidly attempt to insult, belittle & speak down to people.The man talks **** about a recent trend of good posters leaving the board because of the way the backbone of forum users conduct themselves. If others (you included) & myself are guilty of anything it's reacting to the troll but for me, he reaps what he sows, it's time the mods did something about the ****. For as long as he acts the ****, he'll be told he's a ****, a Spurs ****.

Fine, Ben, but what are you achieving? I've dealt with anything said to me, briefly, in direct response and then moved on. This incessant Witch-Hunt is feeding what you see as a troll, not deterring it. Perhaps we should apply your persecution to everyone who makes inflammatory comments or take argumentative stances just for the sake of it - football related or not.
