Always good to see an open game, 3-2, 4-2/2, high scoring draws, anything with goals for both teams. Also good when he underdog wins.
There is no such thing as a neutral in football. I haver never watched a game without knowing straight away who i wanted, you just naturally want a certain side to win. However this season i have just enjoyed watching Spurs, and i am sorry i do not have a love for Man City at all.
Me too. Some teams just seem like good guys to me and some seem like pure evil. If teams annoy me I will hold a grudge against them for years, my dislike for QPR is only just starting to wear off, after their anti-football efforts in January 2007 And even then it's only because I felt a bit sorry them with that dodgy owner they had. If someone appears to be a bit dirty or unfair when I'm watching as a 'neutral' I will start wanting them to lose. I have a soft spot for Tottenham as well, and can understand the argument in favour of Man City.
Man U to get beaten by anyone. Like their style of play but detest Ferguson so much. Always liked Man City from the Bell Summerbee days ( the only football shirt i ever had as a kid was a Man City away shirt, red and black stripes that a lad and his dad gave me on holiday once about 72 time) hope they win the prem, be like a dagger to red noses heart. Hate Spurs and Chelsea irrationally, swanky southerners.
I still have a hatred for Arsenal but it is wearing off like yours, tbh i don't dislike QPR to much really. I just can't watch football and not choose a team to win.
Yeah same with Arsenal. They used to annoy me with their excessive French-ness and the fact it was working so well for them. I couldn't stand the way Henry swaggered around the pitch. And that team would never stay on their feet! It's wearing off now because they're crap, but I still like a giggle when they get beat in the most comical fashion to someone like Bolton courtesy of at least 3 spectatcular own goals.
Have to admit the QPR hatred is wearing off (though not the dislike for Colin) and been replaced with a dislike for Burnleh, Leicester and a dislike for Sunderland, Stoke and Arsenal from the PL days. From this forum and personal experience have always found Brizzle, Southampton, Coventry and Norwich fans to be a decent bunch and aside from when they play us wish them well. Have especially being impressed with Norwich's performances in the top flight this season.
It depends where I'm sat. Normally an even end to end game, but I was fortunate enough to be sat behind the QPR dugout when they were hammered at WBA a few years back with John Gregory their manager. That was an interesting experiance because QPR's squad was so far behind WBA's they never stood a chance, but I could hear all JG's instructions to the team trying to adapt to contain what was basically a PL front 6. It was good seeing apparently strange decisions being made but knowing what he was trying to do with the changes and seeing whether they worked or not.
