How on earth was I generalising? I did state that most from both sides admired him...However, what I said was also true so can;t see why you say it is piss poor..

 

Its not true at all. He was not hounded out of any job as FFS has confirmed. He was sacked because the chairman suspected he had lost his touch and control of the dressing room. Hence he picked a supposed disciplinarian in Souness to follow. It would be true to say a minority of Newcastle fans booed when we started the season badly. There was no mass uprising against Robson which could be even remotely viewed as fans hounding him out.

So it was factual to call it piss poor, and the regurgitating of a fallacy from lads making a tit of themselves

 

Change history if you want, but if you really believe that the chairman didn't sack him because of the very vocal crowd reaction towards Robson then you are kidding yourself...
Sunderland fans also did sing songs about him pissing himself, and I'm not going to pretend that that didn't happen either..

Shepherd even went as far to say he knew he was public enemy number 1 at the time. I think he confirmed it as early as the departure speech saying "he didn't want to be the man who shot Bambi".
