Cheers – not been for about fifteen years – the terrace was/is great. Proper – as you say. I listened to the cup game you refer to and afterwards (off air) Pearson apparently had a pop at Mike White. I honestly thought White was going to burst into tears whilst speaking about it straight after- definitely on the verge.
Why would there be a clash of shirts? Are we changing to red and white striped shirts in the near future?
It's all in the width of the stripes...I'm colour blind & watch on a B&W TV !! Stoke vs WBA really ****s me up..
Interesting Brentford Fact no 2: Status Quo's bassist is a Bees fan He has a sticker on his axe, I was front row for a gig one
Sheffield and Leeds are much bigger cities that Hull. Leeds has a population 3 times that of Hull, i cant see them getting crowds 3 times the size of ours.
Sheffield has twice the population of Hull but 2 teams. Last time they were in PL they averaged 39,000 which is their capacity. However, there are more people who have City as their nearest time than Wednesday or United have. Leeds could have filled more than their 39,000 capacity when they were in the PL. (And so they should with their population). Unfortunately our support is nowhere near as good as Wednesday's. It pains me to say that as I do not like them at all. Leeds had 7,000 at Blackburn. And I bet less of them were sat like dummies than we had amongst our 1,400 at Burnley. It isn't any cheaper to watch Championship football at Elland Road than PL at the KC for a lot of games, and dearer for some, but their crowds aren't that much difference to ours.
