Why is that, to paraphrase you, grumpy? If I said Big Brother or X Factor or Last of the Summer Wine was ****e would that make me 'grumpy'? Not liking something doesnt make me 'an unhappy soul', i just think it's a very predictable, poorly written formulaic example of televsion and there are far superior examples out there.
No Bummy, I never liked it either. Vicar of Dibley though, hilarious, and the role he played in it was just brilliant, awesome comedy timing he had.
Only Fools and Horses was and still is brilliant in my humble, unsophisticated, predictable and formulaic opinion. It wasn't meant to clever or ground breaking. It was what it was and I still think it's ace, Trigger was instrumental in it's success. RIP Trig.
He was a fabulous actor, spoke the Queens English in " real " life. His daughter Emily has, in her time done some memorable stuff, but seems to have stayed out of the industry due to personal reasons. God bless her on the passing of her Father. RIP Mr Lloyd-Pack
Crock of ****. A great comedy, warmth empathy sadness had it all. RIP to Trigger. Quiz question but anyone know what his proper name is in Fools?
R.I.P. Dave Lol. Legend in Fools and also very good in "Vicar of Dibley". R.I.P. Roger. Roger Lloyd Pack also played a hitman in an episode of 70's show "The Professionals" in a more sinister role.
Not really a crock of **** is it? It's my opinion. I didn't say FACT or anything and that nobody else should like it. I actually asked a question in 'is it just me?' You like it whereas I think it's on a par with Hi di Hi in being a catchphrase based mass-appeal knockabout.
I wasn't arguing, I asked if it was just me who thinks the programme he was in was ****e. I didn't disrespect the deceased as he didn't write said comedy.
