I went there between 1966 and 1968 and had some really wonderful nights. The club was called Folk Union One and there was another club on Thursday nights - Freedomfolk which was run by Barry Nettleton who went on to greater things. Anybody know what happened to the stuffed duckbilled platypus which was placed behind the optics in the bar? And I'm off to see Bright Phoebus tonight at Warwick Uni, handy for me cos I live just up the road in Kenilworth.
