The problem is now that in so many cases these people have been making false accusations at the thought of ££££'s How many accusations were there made against DLT that he was found not guilty of ? In those cases why is the accuser not prosecuted ?

We all get annoyed by different things like using that word in the presence of a woman, even if it is on an anonymous message board. I just wouldn't do it. Is it a generation thing ?
I dont think so, I think it's a me thing. I wouldnt say it in public in the circumstances you refer to but this is a messageboard, the whole point (for me) is its anonymous and I can say things I wouldnt say in person and there's a chance I'm going to use that word. If people don't like it then they dont have to read my posts. I understand there's a blocking function on here (I dont know but Ive heard it mentioned) and people can always do that, I wont be offended.

One thing I've noticed is that the c word (sorry but I don't think I have ever used it, spoken or written) has crept into everyday usage more and more. I find it is used predominantly by men (correct me if I'm wrong) and I just wouldn't use it. I guess a lot of you would though, and do.

I think in the one case in which he was found guilty there was another witness. In the other cases it each time came down to the word of one woman against Travis. The jury preferred to believe Travis.

Didn't say she had, I was referring to the dozens who have claimed compensation from the Saville estate, how many people here would be able to defend themselves against a similar accusation made against them especially if you have been in a private 1 to 1 situation with that person, there's hardly likely to be physical evidence after 10 years or more. What disincentive is there against making false accusations when the "victim" always remains anonymous
What a waste of valuable public funds this second phase Dave Lee Travesty has been. It has as much relevance as pointless comments about a c-word were ffs is used as acceptable parlance, ffs. Some certainly have it right when they talk of the everyday sexual innuendo, contrived feminine focus and the physical groping of bums and cupping of bollocks that some of us hard-done-to men have had to tolerate over the years; but suffer in silence we will, just hoping that in 25yrs time we will still remember!
