I'm going to get one with my shandy so it looks like a chaser. On a serious not, it's **** really. I set off with the best of intentions, but I drink the first ones too fast, by the time I notice I'm pissed, the others are already in my system and sense has gone out of the window. I don't go out for long sessions too often so the black dog's not here to often, but I feel for those that get gripped and get caught more often.
Is that a wine? I tried going down that route, but it was a waste of time getting the glasses out. I was just tipping the content of the bottles straight down my neck., which kind of defeated the object.
If it involved anal sex and a tramp then he's got good cause to knock the sauce on the head. Anything else and I dare say he's worrying over nothing.
I almost created a violent altercation with a poser in Leeds on Saturday, but I didn't flash or vomit or grope or anything like that throughout the rest of the night, so I am improving. I think we've all felt that shame and embarrassment after a big night. That regret... Get it out in the open, purge your conscience.
On a serious note: if everyone else is drinking, it can be a bit naff. I remember once I went out but had to drive somewhere afterwards, so tried a Red Bull and Cola... the barmaid looked baffled. The problem is, most places don't seem to cater for many non-alcoholics and/or drivers, as everywhere only seems to stock J2O's as a non-alcoholic option, but after 2 they're really sickly. The all you can eat chinese in St.Stephen's does free soft drinks refills - my missus does a half n half (chinese pun not intended) of, I think it's Sprite and some sort of Fanta, but it tastes really nice together. Though I did see something in the HDM about Garbo's on Lowgate creating a 'non-alcoholic pub crawl' through the Old Town. Might be worth you checking it out and asking them about what they do?
As things are being brought out into the open can I say that it's a bit irritating when you ask me to change angles so you can get a better shot.
If you like shandy, try using lager and Fanta - really popular in Germany (has a name but can't recall it; should have drank more of them!)
It could have been worse. I was going to ask to join in but then saw it was Lee Langman. Note. I may have gone too far with that last comment.
When I went out to Germany many years ago, they were all drinking beer and coke, half and half. Was surprisingly nice actually
