Make sure no ****er presses the brake pedal before you put the new pads in though! The biggest problem working on old cars is rusted and seized bolts. WD40 and patience.
I can see you're sorted but for future ref Chambers on little Boulevard (was Stephensons) and RC Automotive on Horseshoe down Hawthorn Ave (Scooby specialist but does more Ford). Both are honest garages.
Best advice ever. Plenty of things are cheaper if you can do them yourself, but, the reality is unless its your thing, and you have all the stuff to do these things, its always better, cheaper and easier in the long run to get a pro to do them. Sounds like you got details of a decent place with a reasonable price Party, so good luck! Always keep a spare roll of bog paper in though if you got the decorators in and you're using the shed.
I've always used Thomas and Berryman in Beverley, although I'm on my phone and can't put details up. Theyre great and really inexpensive, I've got a service there on Wednesday and they don't charge loads for that either.
