It really has been f**king awful. I've seem more fouls and haranguing of the ref than completed forward passes.
A bit off topic here but I've just seen that Diego Costa had played for both Brazil and Spain senior national teams. How does that work then?
I'm sure we used to value fair play but over the last two seasons pundits in particular have gone completely the other way and ecen criticise players for not choosing to go down, and praising 'clever play'.
Weird that i googled him today. born and brought up in Brazil , played a couple of times for em and then decided he wanted to play for Spain cos he'd lived there since he was 18. Big phil "Scolari commented: "A Brazilian player who refuses to wear the shirt of the Brazilian national team and compete in a World Cup in your country is automatically withdrawn. He is turning his back on a dream of millions, to represent our national team, the five-time champions in a World Cup in Brazil."[
But that doesn't explain how he's allowed to play at full level for both. Is it friendlies don't count?
That's not a hairstyle, it's just random growth. Comment by, lop it off len's hair salon, endike lane.
This has to be up there with West Germany vs Argentina in the 1990 World Cup Final as one of the worse finals ever. Gabri has been fantastic infront of the back four.
