O/T Pullis to manage Palace?

    If they strengthen well in January, I genuiniely could see them staying up. Teams have been in more **** than Palace are at the moment and managed to survive. Hodgson and Fulham springs to mind. They win against Hull, and the whole place will have lifted and they would be probably 3 points from safety. I still think Hull and Sunderland will go down.

    Well, first of all, McGregor and Davies were excellent for Hull, and the Bruce-like spirit and determination of the Hull team admirable. The absorbing question was whether we, shorn of key players by injury, could overcome the handicap and breach the defensive wall. We couldn't, but it was no less absorbing for that. Surely we have all learnt by now that you have to make the best you can of what small scraps of positivity and interest a match yields? Otherwise being a life-time fan of any club would be beyond bearing. <ok>

    I agree, though I would say that, ironically, up until the sending off we played some very nice football against Hull, but for the remaining 65 odd mins against 10 men it was pretty unpleasant viewing...
