The riots in the Paris suburbs make ours look like street parties so it is pretty necessary to have a strong police force.
I can never understand what drives people to join the legion. ****ing mental bastards they are. I don't know anyone who was with them but I know a few people who do, some in the British forces, and by all of their accounts, the legionnaires all have more than a few screws loose.
